The AILC-ICLA expresses its condolences on the passing of Dr. Gerald Ernest Paul Gillespie, who served as President of our Association from 1994 to 1997, and as Honorary President thereafter. Dr. Gillespie passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025, in Scottsdale, Arizona, at the age of 92. We remember with gratitude his contribution to every aspect of our Association – organisation, research, intellectual engagement, outreach – and offer our support and best wishes to the grieving family.
