If you are not sure about the status of your membership (for example, if you are not sure whether your National Association is a member “in good standing”, or whether your individual membership has expired), and wish to check it, you can do so via the National Association of which you are a member (e.g. its Secretary or Treasurer), or by asking us to check for you via the form below.

Please note that if your national association has not recently transmitted to us the list of members, this may take us some time. If you have recently paid an individual membership by credit card and have received a receipt, you will be added to the membership list, but it takes some time. Please do not ask for a membership check immediately after registering.

Membership of the ICLA is required, for example: to vote in the elections; to be nominated, or nominate another member, as candidate for election; to present at a Congress of the ICLA; to participate in one of the ICLA Research Committees or Administrative Committees; to apply for one of the ICLA's prizes, grants or subventions; and to participate in any ICLA activities that may be restricted to members.

DO NOT USE THIS FORM TO APPLY FOR MEMBERSHIP. Information on how to apply can be found at How to become a member.
