Diana Looser’s article in Recherche Littéraire/Literary Research 2018 wins Marlis Thiersch Prize
Diana Looser’s essay “Theatrical Crossings, Pacific Visions: Gauguin, Meryon, and the Staging of Oceanian Modernities”, published in the AILC-ICLA’s journal Recherche Littéraire/Literary Research (Vol 34, 2018) has won the Marlis Thiersch Prize 2019.
The Marlis Thiersch Prize is designed to recognise research excellence in English-language articles anywhere in the world in the broad field of drama, theatre and performance studies.
Diana Looser’s essay has been praised for the scope of the research, the quality of the writing, the significance of the research question and the contribution to the field of theatre studies.
